Health care

Beijing has numerous international standard hospitals and clinics.
Charges are correspondingly high, but should be covered with good insurance.
Public hospitals are also numerous, and much cheaper.  However, they rarely offer services for foreigners, and there may not be anyone who can speak English to help you.
In the case of an emergency, contact your embassy or consulate.  The Beijing International SOS Clinic is open 24 hours, the staff speak English, are used to foreign patients and international medical procedures.
