Pingpong is a free 8 page monthly colour newspaper all about French cuisine in Beijing. Started in February 2007 after a bet by Nicolas Carré, both sommelier and manager of the French restaurant "La Taverne", this newspaper is published in French and Chinese, and paid for by Beijing's French restaurants. Originally printing only 800 black and white copies, its success has meant that there are now over 1500 copies printed monthly.
